We've got all the proof we need with the debt, deficits, and the way the government has been doling out money for flat out stupid sh*t for decades now.

Say what you want about DOGE, as some of their findings have not always been 100% accurate, but they have unearthed mountains of wasteful and irresponsible government spending. Much of it flat out stupid.
