It seems more like they were upset that they were no longer allowed to persecute and discriminate against others like in the good old days, when it was perfectly normal and acceptable to treat ‘others’… like blacks, gays, women… as ‘less than’ and call them names, pay them less, or whatever. Trump gave them permission to act like him and thus somehow feel better about themselves by putting others down…. getting rid of PC, DEI, equal rights for women, gays, etc.
