and the respectful ones don't do something about it, then they're all just as bad. This has been going on in Aspen since I was a kid. I first heard about it about 1970. My climbing partner Jim was slugged in the stomach by a Kennedy body guard when he allegedly got too close to a Kennedy in the outdoor mall. I was there.

They, the Kennedys pay for the physical damage. But they do it every year, like it's their right. Imo there is no compensation for the personal abuse through which they put working people trying to do their jobs. Most of those workers don't live in Aspen. Can't afford it. They live in Glenwood, 50 miies west, Rifle 80 miles west, and Parachute 100 miles west and commute. These are the cooks, chefs, hotel staff, ski area staff, lift operators, shuttle drivers...
