Once it became obvious that NONE of the GOP would stand up to trump or Johnson, there was no point in continuing to let Americans starve; federal employees financial lives be destroyed; air travel safety be compromised; and trump continuing to deconstruct the federal government.

The hope is that by giving in and allowing RED STATES to suffer the most at GOP hands, voters will FINALLY smarten up and realize that the GOP is NOT fighting for them, the DEMs are!

IMHO, the key to this working is to NOW replace Schumer immediately and put in place someone like Bernie Sanders who isn't too timid to take a solid stance and who WILL eviserate the GOP before the midterms. AOC will assist along with other strong DEMs who are not afraid to rattle the old guard.

It is now time to fight fire with fire since the futile fight is over and the GOP owns it. The GOP voters are expecting things to get better, but now they will see that it is only getting worse. That is important with stupid people who can't see the forest for the trees. The GOP constantly lies to them and blames DEMs for their evils. No more!
