I watched Laurel and Hardy, then got into Harold Lloyd and the Marx Bros., then the Stooges. Never saw a lot of these guys, nor Chaplain or Keaton either for that matter (shame on me!). Some Abbott & Costello.

Such a golden age of comedy, though, largely thanks to Vaudeville.
