I used to watch them on Saturday morning reruns with one brother and one sister who both loved them too.

My parents didn't much like them and didn't want us watching them, me in particular since I was young enough to think their stunts were harmless and maybe try to copy them. (Bud & Cynthia told me they were staged, which only made it more fun for me since I first thought they were far too mean to each other and didnt much care for them.)

However, my folks weren't home for a bit and 2 of my siblings were taking care of me so we all watched them together. They let me watch with the agreement that I wouldn't tell on them.
