Here is my first draft at putting a letter together. Please add your suggestions!


To Whom It May Concern:

We the people want accountability in government… NOT corruption and lawlessness. NOT tyranny, theft and grifting. NOT lies, cruelty, propaganda and profiting on hatred and division. We want common sense laws, and common sense actions to hold our so-called “leaders” accountable under the law... the same laws they expect the 'governed' to be under.

Stop the games and do your job. We want a balanced budget, a fair tax system, and sane foreign relations and policies as well as domestic relations. We want criminals to be held accountable, whether rich or poor, and we want all people to be treated with fairness, dignity and respect, no matter the color of their skin, country of origin, or religious beliefs or lack thereof. We are a multi-cultural and diverse country in a diverse world, and we CANNOT continue on a path of insane and lawless provocation toward our neighbors and trading partners.

We the people believe that our “leaders” should be held to a higher standard, NOT lower, than those they purport to lead, govern and protect. So please… clean up the corruption, the campaign financing laws (revoke the Citizens United decision) and do what you are paid to do without begging for more money to do nothing but allow the corruption to continue and worsen day by day.

We the people will NOT give up our voice or our democracy. We will NOT acquiesce to the politics of divide and conquer. We WILL unite to save this country that we love and stop the out-of-control greed, lawlessness, corruption and tyranny at the highest levels. It is time for US to stop the waste, fraud and abuse.
