Well, I got my cast off today. The wrist is still stiff and sore... will start physical therapy on Monday, one to three times a week for a few weeks. I lost one of the tendons in my thumb (he said it was ruptured) and I can't get that back. I can still close and grab with the thumb, but can no longer open it up wide to grab something thicker like I can with other thumb. He said I could just live with it that way, or at some point I could have surgery to transplant one of my 'extra' tendons from the forefinger to the thumb, if I want to.
