| "I'm still your president"

| Hopefully, both trump & Vance will be inpeached come January. Guess who becomes POTUS then?

| Jeffries is OK. Schumer is NOT
Posted by Pikes Peak 14115
| I agree Schumer is over-ripe, so to speak

| Jasmine Crockett lost to James Talerico in the primary in Texas
Posted by Sia
| So? Talarico stood a better chance to be elected Senator; that proved true

| I thought she'd lost her seat. I see now that she didn't. I favor Jamie Raskin, for sure.

| Still not a fan of Jeffries…
Posted by Skye
| But they are Senators, not House Representatives so that's impossible.
Posted by Sia
| I agree with Pikes…

| It wouldn't be worth it right now. The last thing needed is a huge chasm.

| Offer to make Schumer chief advisor to the Senate Leader
Posted by Pikes Peak 14115
| Do you seriously think he'd even consider that?
Posted by Sia
| Why? Bruise his ego?
Posted by Pikes Peak 14115 On another note, Scott Colom widened his lead in Mississippi over Hyde Smith to 1813 votes. That should hold to make him Senator elect. Democrats look likely to win 56 seats in the Senate. At least 252 in the House, and maybe 260. Lauren Boebert was defeated and conceded. The public is pissed, and they want change. Schumer in the Senate and Jeffries in the House isn't it.
| Schumer is the one who sought out and cultivated the 7 brand new senators

| Schumer can't "make up" with THIS GOP
Posted by Pikes Peak 14115
| Schumer hasn't said anything remotely like he intends to cozy up to any of them.
Posted by Sia
| Hopefully....

| Sorry, had to change that link...

| I agree!

| Sia pointed out he played a role in talent recruitment

| Moved to a top post to reduce the clutter
Posted by Sia
| Agreed
Posted by Skye
| I suspect Schumer will stay. He, personally, pulled out all the stops to get a few of the senate

| Wonderful!
