But perhaps better outline Guideline advice for the tracks chosen, would be a wise move? - perhaps a mix of old & new, similar to the "Normal" Caroline mix. Not ALL Heavy rock, not ALL Blues, not ALL 1960s etc. Or would that be too much like censorship & heavy control?

I would say drop them.
Its not wise to let a listener programme the music on a professional radio station, even for an hour.
