I still get a kick out of live TV or radio to know I'm not the only one watching or listening .
Tennis, rugby etc with celebs or Royalty etc in the crowd for example as opposed to an ipad and ear buds .
Notice how popular the LIVE request show by Barry or Clive has become on Tuesday nights -- never enough time in the 3 hours to fit all requests in .

It's self indulgent and a total tune out for many listeners (including me and it would seem PM). Thats ok because I am a Caroline fan and will go back when the likes of Pat Edison is on. Others won't.
Because something might have been popular over 40 years ago, doesn't mean it is the right thing to do.
