The last big batch of switch off's was done over several days with what appeared to be just one team of Arqiva engineers going from site to site and not doing it all on the expected date. It's quite possible they don't work weekends for non - essential tasks so could visit some more next week. 603 in Kent is the last Smooth radio outlet with a usable signal at my location in Essex on Medium wave. 1242 is much weaker. There's so few left now the next major AM switch off will be when the Radio 4 fillers go - none of which are of usable strength near me. That must be pretty immanent. That just leaves Talksport and Five live and very few specialist interest local stations like Lyca radio 1458/Lyca Gold 1035 and Premier Christian radio in London.
