The BBC was allowed to sell off its transmitter stations and equipment to private companies to fund Digital TV and Radio. Arqiva must be the company that runs the Droitwich transmitter for the BBC, so presumably they will have a say in the matter. I know first hand that my staff were sent to Brookmans Park with all of the the master tapes and digital master from the archive, then when the site was sold they were all moved back to London again! The tapes went elsewhere, but will not mention that on this forum for security reasons. I don't have a smart meter and do not want one, they cause more problems than not having one.
