I heard this sad news on my car radio yesterday while driving home after seeing one of my home care clients. RIP Assata.

She never killed that cop that the state claims she did. She should have never had to flee to Cuba.

However, Kudos to Cuba for taking her in. Kudos for not extraditing her.

I am sures she did not die alone. I am sure that at her beside were Afro-Cuban doctors.

Since the Cuban revolution, Black Cubans have been well-represented in Cuba's medical field, with studies showing they hold a majority of positions in the medical professions.

Long live the memory of Assata. Long live the Cuban revolution!!!!
