Almighty has claimed Brenda Travis at 86 yrs old..
To say she was a Civil Rights pioneer, activist/warrior is an understatement..
She went through the whole brutal dramas of harassment, jailed, ignored, underappreciated, misogyny, blatant racism, sexual harassment - the whole gambit..
Very depression!

Signed: imagine having to join such a targeted movement at 15 years old and being a young Black girl from Mississippi. Do y'all understand how dangerous that was then? And yet, i'm guessing that less than 25% of the Black community have even heard of Brenda Travis' name. Shameful!....grimreaper(hmm, I sounded like gm)
