Hear what you are saying Allan, but why build an "odd" shaped Cemetery, then extend it, to make it square..just make it square..

Burn Heads Farm is just about inline with the Cemetery wall, which places it around about where the 2 schools are, so Crawley Avenue is off to the left on the photo...

Your comment about a hedge & dried up stream holds water (Yes, pun WAS intended!) going diagonally from the end of Crawley Avenue....

So had to be cleared/drained to finish the Cemetery?

Does anyone know when the Cemetery was..errr..Built? Or dug? Established?
