My son Matthew is a self employed Gas Engineer and he did work at Norman Robinson's house in 2018. I later popped round to see Norman & his daughter. He was now in his 90s and during our chat he told me he'd served in the Royal Navy WW2.His daughter showed me a letter Norman & his RN colleagues got from General Dwight D Eisenhower for what they did to help the 'D Day Landings' 6th June 1944.
Below is what they did in WW2 and then a photo of Norman when he worked in Atkinson's Butchers in the Newtown.
