I have sympathy for the Russian people but not Putin. When the Soviet Union fell and the Berlin Wall came down. The Russian then in charge, Mikhail Gorbachev really offered friendship with the West, but the U.S.A. was never friendly and never trusted the Russians . Putin has lived with this and as I see it being ex KGB he doesn’t trust the West. The Ukrainians democracy voted for a leader, but was ousted by the current leader who immediately wanted to join the Eu and allowed NATO to be on Russias doorstep. I’m no fan of Putin, just saying the facts as have been in the news since the Ukraine and Russia went to war.
