Almost NO ONE drives 60. Not even close.
In the morning, during rush hour, with all three lanes occupied, and everyone driving 65 or higher, I would be in the left lane, doing 72. Everyone ahead of me in the left lane doing 72. Most people in the center lane doing 72. Some people in the right lane going slower, maybe just getting on, or getting ready to exit.
Some guy would come flying up behind me, expecting me to get over, so he could do 80.
As if EVERYONE in the left lane doing 12 miles an hour over the speed limit in bumper-to-bumper rush-hour traffic was supposed to get over so HE could go 80.
And HE would be the one later complaining because "PEOPLE WERE DRIVING 50 IN THE LEFT LANE!!!"
