The talk shows that I am familiar are often hosted by comedians. Their monologue is not a news report given by a journalist. I always keep that in mind when I listen to them - if I listen to them.

I may disagree to the strongest degree with what someone says, but I don't seek to silence them because of it. I rather shoot their ideas down with reason and evidence rather than try to make them disappear through censorship, which does not work anyway.

Freedom of speech and the ability to explore different ideas that are laid before us is one of the ways we learn and move forward. Government enforced censorship is not the sign of a nation that values democracy.

I worry about this current administration because through threats and lies and lawsuits it attempts to control what We the People hear. That is not the America I want to live in.
