It doesn't matter if you are comparing Tiffany level diamonds or Zales....an independent dealer will always get you the same thing at a lower price. That is why the major jewelry districts exist in cities like NY or Chicago. There are buildings full of appointment only offices without the shiny showrooms where you get the best for your money.
The prices vary even more with gold/silver jewelry. That Tiffany stamp on their classic silver bracelets comes with a HUGE mark up for a basic design and materials that are available at many other stores or independent designers. If you want the stamp, then fine, but understand that is ALL you are paying for. Another great example is David Yurman. Their materials are average at best but are significantly more expensive than some designers you can get at stores like Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus. You are paying for the name (I know...my wife probably has 15K in Yurman stuff).
I am not a fan of GM in general. I have a 2025 Tahoe that cost around 78K. There are not a lot of vehicles of that size on the market, so I went with the one that I liked the most. The interior and electronics are a far downgrade from my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Bose stereo is absolute garbage (Bose is always garbage). My JGC had a 19 speaker Macintosh system that was amazing.
