I don’t like the consequences of treating language as though it is unstable and unreliable, which is the basis for Wittgenstein’s theory and for what some have said means the death of the author because it is the reader’s interpretation that matters! How ridiculous that is, is patently obvious on its surface. How can society function with such a principle. If everyone brings a different experience to meaning then nothing is stable.

We have generations now who buy that insanity and are smug and arrogant in this delusion. How great I am. And yet how great is everyone else, too! We’re all right! Chaos reigns. No need for law, justice, voter i.d., just the feeling at the moment!

These boards are filled with it. And it’s a killer!

People deny the absolutes needed for society to function, but demand their own personal opinions and fail to see why it doesn’t work.

May God help us, because only He can save us from our self-destructive behaviors.
