Yes, Black bears can be colored anywhere from black to cinnamon to blonde.
The Yellowstone Reddit usually has someone posting photos asking if they saw a black bear or a grizzly, either due to color of the bear or distance away from the animal in the photograph. We spend most of our Colorado time in RMNP (going again in September) and through there are a few bears, sightings are very rare.
