Interesting.
I've heard of black bears becoming quite aggressive in some areas when looking for food (Yosemite, Gatlinburg, etc.) but not so much in slightly less touristy areas. We know some people who went with a family to a cabin outside the Smokies a few weeks ago. Right after they arrived and were unloading, a black bear jumped in the front seat of an SUV with the passenger door open. The next day a bear opened the unlocked door of a week old work truck and tore the center console apart looking for food.  Previous Message
I’ve basically stopped using the grill because it’s just not worth it. One of em opened our neighbors car door last summer and rummaged through the whole thing. Ate the peanut butter pretzels, shunned the cheese ones. There are scratches on our truck handles. I lock it every night.
