agree with ATL. Tankless is better, but talk to a contractor (or several.)
some cases where it is hard to pull off or not worth the effort.  Previous Message if you have the capacity in your electrical panel, a heat pump tank water heater can be a good choice too.  Previous Message currently have a tank that is over 20 years old. i've drained it and that helped a bit but i think it's time for a new one. family of 6
