It doesn't seem to match Trump's first term, unless you count the time from November to the end of his term after he lost the election. He was still wild-ass Trump demanding fealty at all times then but there were still some guardrails and "adults" in the room. I feel like he would have been dissuaded from what he's tried in LA and DC (and surely every city soon). I don't think there will be a civil war because it's just the elites vs. everyone else. No real competing interests for the elites; instead it's just going to be a uniquely shitty time for this country that will probably not get cleaned up or dealt with properly. Previous Message
