 Previous Message You spent 18 years with this person and poured your hopes and dreams into them, and did everything you could to love and support them. Feeling like a piece of you has been ripped out is normal and absolutely sucks. Feeling sad, proud, unsure of how the future plays out without that kid at home, yet feeling happy that they're getting to spread their wings and that it's the right time for them to do so...all of that is normal and just a weird combo of things to feel.
