in their divorce, a coach who is all about positivity and good feels yet deals with anxiety and panic attacks, and includes a gay player who stays in the closet until he's no longer able, only to be fully embraced by his teammates and another player (an immigrant, no less) that refuses to support the club's main sponsor after finding out the horrible things that company has done to his home country only to, again, be supported by all of his teammates. that's a pretty "woke" show to begin with. I don't think coaching a women's team is the straw that breaks the camels back here. right wing nut jobs weren't Ted Lasso fans to begin with
