There are similarities to the Mack deal but with a couple key differencesArchived Message

Bears gave up two 1sts, a 3rd, and a 6th and got a 2nd back, so that is kind similar to Barnwell’s proposed deal but with two exceptions:
- The addition of Fields, which you figure is the equivalent of something like a 2nd and a 4th - more value than the 3rd and 6th the Bears threw in for Mack
- The fact that one of the two 1sts is locked in as top 10 pick versus having both as hypothetical future 1sts for a team planning to go into a contention window
PFF simulator says fair value trade would be changing that 2025 1st to a 3rd, but their player values in the simulator always feel a bit off. Still I’d like it more if you could switch that future 1st into multiple seconds or something like that.
