For reasonable money.

The women's senior championships are actually at Circle City. You should go check it out. That would be a good one to go watch.

arena ice curling kind of sucks. Curling ice is really delicate, and when it's all cut up by ice skates it really impacts the experience. I'd encourage you to at least try a learn to curl. It's humbling, as it's way more difficult than it looks.

Didn’t realize the ice is different among curlers and hockey/skaters.
There is actually a curling rink? In Anderson, IN…but a little too far from me to go to regularly

but that's an amazing story. Good for her. Please keep us updated. I just joined the board of USA Curling and we always look to soccer as the high water mark for youth development.

A US Soccer scout saw my 13 yr old daughter play at an event last fall. The scout made an effort to see my daughter play two additional times, asked for practice film and additional game film, and eventually got her an invite to a regional US Soccer ID Camp. My kid participated in that ID camp in December with 32 girls from 5 or 6 states. She was one of four girls to survive that camp and be invited to the next regional camp with girls from 10 to 15 states. She had that second regional camp yesterday. They were playing at one of three camps. The other two camps were being held in NY and CA. The coaches specifically told them that they were playing for an invite to the US Soccer National Team Camp for a shot to play on the U14 National Team at the next U14 FIFA Worldcup.
Kind of a surreal moment to have your kid tell you she is one step from a US National Team Camp. She has no expectations, it is a million to one shot. But, to even get this far from Peoria is crazy. Everyone else at the camp is on a huge club with lots of contacts from a big city. Super proud of her. Nothing made me happier than the big smile on her face yesterday after the camp. She thinks she played well, and she truly LOVES the game and the competition.
Fingers crossed for her to get one more call and get to the national camp. Would be absolutely insane.
