The AT&T install took maybe a couple of hours at most Archived Message

the tech had to run the fiber line from the pole behind our house to the house (fiber had been recently installed in the neighborhood) and then he had to drill into the house where the phone line had previously gone. Nothing I would have done myself. But it was included. It was up and running pretty quickly and works great. The xFinity disconnect was more annoying. I talked to someone, then i got a confirmation that it was going to be shut off on X day, then it WASN'T shut off on X day, but i got some "are you sure you want to cancel" emails. it finally shut off after a few weeks of that. I'm sure i could have been more assertive and kept calling back. The only annoying thing about AT&T was that essentially a salesperson came out shortly after the install was done to make sure we were satisfied, which was basically code for trying to sell other AT&T products like cell service. Overall been very happy, though. Would recommend the switch. Previous Message Previous Message the bill is probably about the same, but the speed is more than double, and it's been much more reliable (only down-time in almost a year was when the people replacing our siding disconnected a wire vs. Xfinity internet going out regularly) There were other AT&T tiers speed-wise that were probably equivalent speed for probably $30/month less. Previous Message The xfinity bills are getting absurdly high.
