No, but have a couple patients diagnosed with it. Archived Message

It's a clinical diagnosis after having a strep infection. Typically your doctor has a suspicion for it. I have sent patient I suspected for it to pediatric neurology and behavior therapy specialist. Unfortunately, no treatment other then supportive modalities. But be reassured it typically subsides in adolescents and not seen in adulthood. Make sure your child is evaluated (behavior developmental specialty) for other conditions that can overlap (ODD, OCD, PDD (not used anymore)) Previous Message Fairly certain my son has it, waiting on some blood tests to know more but every day or two just goes through these uncontrollable fits lasting anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. Throws things, scratches, kicks, bites, and nothing is able to calm him down. Started a couple months back but were rare at the time, now it’s close to a daily occurrence. My wife and I are at our wits end, any advice?
