Strangely unappealing (to me) alternate history Archived Message

I read the season summaries on Wikipedia, and yes, I get that it's fantasy and alternate history. The summaries indicate the show put a lot of modern themes into the late 1960s and 1970s to appeal to current audiences. Maybe that's why "The Man in the High Castle" didn't do so well. It was more realistic for the time it was set, I'd say, until it got strange.
