So I was listening to Live at Leeds the other day and digging through the stuff…

That comes with the record. There’s a copy of their Woodstock contract. 12,500 dollars. In todays money that’s only 105-106k dollars.
Jimi Hendrix was the highest paid artist at 30k or about 250k usd in todays dollars.
For some of the biggest bands in the world at the time, these seem like super low booking fees by todays standards.

Yep. I just paid $400 for four, really good seats, at the Tedeschi/Trucks concert in May............
