Small venue. Like 3,000 seats Previous Message ...charge 50 bucks for an arena show now. Previous Message off album sales back then either. Most went to the recording companies. Tickets sure were cheaper. I saw the Rolling Stones with Stevie Wonder as the opening act in 1972 for $6.50 Previous Message That comes with the record. There’s a copy of their Woodstock contract. 12,500 dollars. In todays money that’s only 105-106k dollars. Jimi Hendrix was the highest paid artist at 30k or about 250k usd in todays dollars. For some of the biggest bands in the world at the time, these seem like super low booking fees by todays standards.
