is entitlements or the military, and the proposed tax cuts from Republicans will add more to the defecit than wiping out NOAA will save, with the added bonus of making a bunch of shit we have worse. Is there merit in taking a good hard look at some of these programs and whether or not they are worth it? Of course there are. But 1) calling your program DOGE 2) having it being run by an uncsanctioned billionaire with no government experience and 3) apparently being run by, checks notes, 19 year old kids is just beyond the pale. The level of chaos and distraction that Trump has brought to these first two weeks is way beyond what I expected, and my expectations were very low.
