But just again speaks to the fact that something isn’t translating for these guys in live game action. Of course I also suspect that most college teams shoot well on unguarded practice threes.  Previous MessagePrevious Message- Brad said ‘when we get Morez back’ when talking about having to teach the new defense adjustments to him. Thought that was at least mildly encouraging. - Another defensive tweak they made was not picking people up quite as far out, which is what I’ve been begging for the last couple months. Way too many times we’ve defended so close 25 feet from the basket and just gotten blown by for layups. - DGL made 40 straight corner 3’s when practicing at MSG. - He said the team 2 years ago had no chance of overcoming adversity in the way this team has. - Fran was asked what Illinois did well to contain Sandfort and Dix and he said he won’t answer the question because he doesn’t want to get fined. |
