and I'd be willing to bet pitchers, relievers in particular, as a whole juiced more than hitters. Ball was probably juiced too. But the power hitters became the scapegoats. The paying field was probably more level than we think and Selig didn't do shit until that shitshow before Congress (my timing may be off here but he enjoyed the "Chicks Dig the Longball" era too as lots of money was made by all). He is in the Hall and no one says boo about it
