but last year was our best on paper class in almost 20 years. Then we lost all our juice.  Previous Messagei mean, while classes have generally improved from the bleakness of previous eras, there's no question that the onfield success hasn't really translated into better recruiting. note: i say this as someone who only peripherally follows recruiting, so its entirely possible i'm missing something.
