Every sporting event for the last 6 months has had the networks tweeting about it being the most watched in history or since decades ago, and that’s because Nielsen changed their model in the last year to better capture out of home viewing.
There’s no doubt that a shit ton of people are watching, but I’ve had a very niche pet peeve about legitimate media people posting these things without the proper context for all sports.
