After much agonising, I decided that my favourite is the Greville emerald tiara. It is such a stunning piece, and it was a shock to see it after all our speculating about whether it had survived and been bequeathed to Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.

The TV commentator on the programme I watched on Princess Eugenie's wedding said that the tiara was a great favourite of the Queen. I wonder if that is true or was just waffle?
