Can anyone identify the brooch QEQM wore in her hat to the christening of Lord Linley (current Earl of Snowden) in 1961?
As HM wore her Cartier ruby clips on her coat, I assume that the hat brooch is also a ruby.
I don't think that the brooch on the hat is the ruby and diamond brooch now worn by the Duchess of Cornwall, as I feel that the ruby is larger and the diamond surround an entirely different shape.
