The little bugger got me when I wrung out my mop washing the kitchen floor. I thought the Fabuloso on a paper cut was causing the intense burning sensation. When numbness started traveling up my arm, I realized I'd been stung.
After shouting a string of colorful colloquialisms, I poured tequila on the sting site and drank a liberal dose for good measure. Then I called a friend to be on alert in case things went sideways. I was fine, the pain went away, and the numbness lasted for several days. I never touched another wet mop!
I do not recommend this course of action for scorpion stings. It worked for me, but everyone reacts differently. Listen to your body and take appropriate action, seeking medical help if necessary.
