I've seen it happen to too many kids.

I didn't meet her head coach until after my kid signed. I had met the assistant during scouting but it was brief and impossible to make any judgement. Went and met the head coach soon after. Rolled out the red carpet and was very genuine. Totally agreed with her decision to play for that coach. Prayed the coaches would stay on another 4 years, even asking that in person.
