Why do they put 17+ girls on varsity for high school and only play the same 9-10 players. Why don’t they put 3-4 girls down on JV to get some at bats when varsity isn’t playing conference games? Many of these players sitting on the bench are actually good and should be playing but because of politics, dad is coaching the freshman baseball team or whatever it is. Than the last month of softball just have them stay in varsity Incase someone gets hurt. Coaches Do better! Marking many girls hate softball by sitting. Just to let everyone know my daughter is one of the starters and always plays but I see what’s happening to the girls that just sit.
