Marist ran into a LW West team that is graduating 7 starting seniors, plus Coach Novak had that team peaking at the perfect time.

Every time Marist got something going, the LWW pitcher and defense shut them down. This was the 2nd time the LWW pitcher shutdown the Marist offense.

Both the LWWest pitcher and the Marist pitcher let up one earned run in both of the championship games they played in. Outstanding performances from both pitchers.
