Elara stood in cold silence as Mabbit and Themis welcomed the wolves: Phobus, Deimus, Ayara. She nudged Vader when she noticed him looking Ayara over. She was not going to have her son get in trouble for looking at the king's daughter the wrong way.

She stood at attention, listening to the small talk around her. Elara itched to hunt, to move. She was a bright-eyed mother, if only for the fact that she could think of slipping away from company for a while. She kept busy by hunting regularly, and Natalya had been joining her lately. The young girl seemed so eager to learn. Elara couldn't ever remember being like that as a pup or teen.
