If we met, at midnight, in the hanging tree
Evangeline stared anxiously at the queen as she padded in. Excuse me, but is everything alright? she asked. You're looking quite upset. Evangeline was sure that everything was okayish, but she also knew that she hadn't seen Phobus, the prince, around lately. Was there something wrong with him?
Elara entered, with Vader and Skywalker, her sons, and Evangeline had to wince. Elara scared her. She reminded Eve of a woman she'd known back home, harsh and unforgiving. Evangeline edged away from Elara and Vader; the latter was not one she'd want to get close to. He was angry and unenthusiastic. He eyed all the females, Ayara and Evangeline especially, like they were an exotic creature. She was never in a mood to be near him.
"Stop that, you worthless whelp," Vader snarled at Skywalker as Skywalker accidentally tripped. The younger boy edged away from him, shrinking down. Evangeline glared at Vader. How dare he treat his brother like that in front of the queen-or any time!
She watched as Elara, ignoring her sons, took a seat by the edge of the wood. Elara shot a side look at Vader and then proceeded to ignore everyone in favor of looking at a woodpecker-but she did nod hello to Themis.
