The meeting had finally ajourned, and the cream colored maiden had found herself staring at Marius almost the entire time. She couldn't help but feel drawn to him, always wanting to be closer to him. She knew that he probably had his own things going on. But as he beckoned for her after the meeting, his french-laced voice filled her audits with the music of his voice, music she'd be longing to hear for some time now. ”Cosette! Follow me, I’d like to show you something!” Pure curiousity filled her being as she bounded after him, excited to see what he had in store. After their talk about their old lands, Cosette had found they were similar in more ways than one. They'd both fallen from french lands, they'd both missed their homes dearly, but they were both excited about the possibilities hiding behind the corners in Starfall. The lass did her best to keep up with the man who had wandered out of Sabertooth territory. She found him leading her into a dew-covered forest, drizzle gently floating down from the previous stormy skies. She watched as he hopped upon the stone, being so focused upon him she didnt notice what was around her, ”Welcome to Firefly Forest, my dear Cosette!” His smiled and bow pulled it all together, and thats when she finally took a look around her. Small fireflies lit up the forest, almost looking as if the sky had found its way to the forest floor. Almost like little stars. Her eyes widened, the reflection of the fireflies glowing in her emeralds. It was truly beautiful. She turned her gaze to him, eyes wide with excitement and awe. She met his pale ocean green eyes and hopped upon the rock beside him. "Marius, it's beautiful.." She whispered out, sitting herself down and allowing herself to press up against him She was curious on how he'd found this place, and how she never knew it had existed. It was right outside the Sabertooth borders. Was this where the rumored Lamprydae had come from? "How did you stumble across this beauty? I.." she trailed off her sentance, becoming focused on the world around her once again. Had Marius brought her here for a random adventure, or did he have something else in mind? It'd been a while since they'd been able to have some one-on-one time after all. It was something that the lady had longed for. "Thank you, monsiour, for bringing me here. I adore it." She whispered to him, resting her head upon his shoulder as she gazed upon the beauty in front of her. The madame had waited for this opportunity to be closer with Marius. Some part of her worried there was another woman, a small sliver of herself worried he'd find someone who would capture his heart the way he did hers. Was that normal to have such a fear? Valjean had protected her from such a thing before, shooing away any men who had come forward with any type of dowry. But her father wasn't here any more - it was just her and Marius now. Her smile rested upon her lips, just happy to be with him, alone and content.
