The French Mademoiselle truly had never felt the love she felt extruding from Marius before. In her life, she’d been safe, protected by Valjean as her father. She’d always been kept out of harm's way, whether that be physical or emotional. Even when her mother passed, she’d never really thought too much about it, as Valjean had saved her from the grief and pain a child would normally feel. Now that she could process, Valjean’s love didn’t compare to Marius. He loved her as a child and she felt as if he’d always see her as the scared little girl he’d found in the woods. Marius saw her. For who she’d become, who she’d grown into. And he loved her. As if to confirm the thoughts running through her head, his voice floated into her audits. ”My dear, my heart is full of love for you.” As he did so, she felt him gently nuzzle her cheek, and she could feel her fur heating up. Even with it so clear to the both of them, she still got butterflies around him. She still felt nervous, but excited. As her cranium gently rested upon his shoulder, a content sigh left the lady’s lips. Cosette had dreamed of this moment from the moment she’d laid eyes upon the French lad. When he’d spoken to her for the first time, butterflies had erupted in her stomach. The lass had heard talk of things such as soulmate ties - something that was passed down. Well, they didn’t have a soulmate tie, yet she felt called to him for a reason. Fate. ”It was a single look and then I knew… I knew you must never go away. You have been all that I’ve thought about, made me feel emotions I’ve never felt before, and all I desire is to remain in your presence from now on, to call you my love…and my mate.” As she listened to him speak, his confession set off fireworks in her heart. Yet, he seemed nervous. She wasn’t the one to be skittish when it came to confessing love. Deep down she was a hopeless romantic. Then once again the man spoke, almost longingly. ”My dear Cosette, what would you think about…having pups of our own?” The thought had crossed her own mind several times. Her and Marius would make beautiful children together. Yet.. she worried. She was heartbroken that Valjean would never be able to meet them, they would never have a grandfather who cherished them so. However, they would have a set of parents any pup would dream of. Loving to them and to one another. “A heart full of love.” She murmured gently, pulling away from his shoulder and gazing up at him, her sage green orbs lightly blinking in the soft glow of the fireflies. If Marius would to look her in the eyes, all he would see would be how full of love she was for him. “My only desire is to be yours, Marius.” Cosette’s soft voice murmured, a smile forming on her kissers. “From today.. Everyday. A heart full of you.” Leaning up she lapped a gentle lick upon his cheek before settling once again into his side. He was warm. He radiated protection and love for her, just as she did for him. “I wouldn’t mind a couple of pups. You’d make a wonderful father, Marius.” Cosette gazed off into the forest, her mind playing tricks on her as she imagined little ones scampering about. They were a gorgeous mix of the two. “I think we’d have beautiful children, raised in love and joy. They’d never want for a thing.” A soft laugh left her lips at that thought. It’s how she was raised, not wanting for a thing. Valjean had provided for her from the moment he’d found her. Rescued her from the one’s she been staying with. They’d had a little girl around her age at the time, but she’d been treated very differently. Shaking off that thought, she cuddled a little bit closer to her now mate, her feelings only growing by the second. Cosette could only hope children would be in their near future. “When were you planning on these children, Monsieur Marius?” A small trace of teasing could be heard in her gentle song, a smile plastered to her lips.
